South Walton High School is proud to offer a variety of clubs for students to participate in. Each club aims to develop well-rounded students who are valuable members of the community. In fact, community service is a theme among many of the clubs at SWHS.

Academic Competition Club

Academic Competition Club is an organization focused to provide a competitive intellectual outlet for highly academic high school students, enabling cerebral, social, and personal growth outside the traditional classroom. It strives to promote lifelong learning, celebrate academic achievement and enhance self-confidence as members of a team.


Anchor is an international organization made up of students that serve because they want to make a difference. Anchors lear and develop the rewarding skills of service and leadership, a keep awareness of opportunities to invest in the lives of those in their communities. Anchors mature into dynamic leaders of tomorrow.


DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. DECA members at SWHS routinely attend competitive events which directly contribute to their being college and career ready when they graduate from high school.

Drama/Thespian Club

Thespian Club is a place for students to express themselves through theater. There is a place for everyone either backstage or centerstage.

Environmental Club

The SWHS Environmental Club gives students the platform needed to take action on the environmental issues we feel passionate about. We focus on identifying and achieving our school’s environmental goals. We strive to raise awareness, host school events, and develop eco-initiatives and programs.


Fellowship of Christian Athletes

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is the largest Christian sports organization in America. FCA focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ. The core values of FCA are "Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence." 

Grill Team

Grill Team is all about school spirit. And we need food to fuel that spirit! Grill Team is the place to test your culinary skills in fun atmosphere.

History Club

History club allows students to extend their exploration of all things history.


Interact is Rotary International's service club for young people ages 12-18. Interact club completes at least two community service projects, one of which furthers international understanding and goodwill. Students involved with Interact develop leadership skills and personal integrity. 

Key Club

Key Club is a nationally and internationally recognized service club for high
school students. The organization gives students the chance to develop
leadership skills, provide service, and build character.


SWHS is proud to offer Chorus, Music Theory, Steel Pan, Jazz Band, Orchestra and Marching Band. So whatever your talent or interest we have a spot for you.

National Honor Society

The National Honor Society is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. NHS honors those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.

Outdoor Club

The South Walton HS outdoor club will provide students the ability to share and discover ethical outdoor experiences through club and community service opportunities!

Photography Club

This is the club for students who love to take photographs and want to learn
more about the Art of the Photograph - both analog and digital. Students will
learn about Photoshop editing and effects to manipulate their images.

Spanish Honor Club

Spanish Club provides an opportunity for students to practice a variety of languages and to meet in a casual atmosphere.

Student Government Association

Student Government Association teaches students how to become more effective, ethical, and influential leaders on their campuses.
