Brittany Tate, Senior Grant Manager & Education Coordinator, presented a certificate to Kim Kirby, WCSD School Board Member and Superintendent Russell Hughes at the March 7, 2017, school board meeting.

Ms. Tate wished to acknowledge Walton County School District students for their participation in a Student-Led Habitat Restoration in the Choctawhatchee Watershed.  Walton County students have been growing grass for the Bay and Coastal Lakes in the area.  Last month Walton County Students were recognized in Atlanta, Georgia at the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation Grant Recipient Luncheon with a plaque and last night Walton County School District was presented with a recognition certificate.
