It was a family affair at Emerald Coast Middle School celebrating the conclusion of the ECMS Summer Bridge Program! Mrs. Parker and Mrs. Yates worked hard and enjoyed every minute they spent working with these dedicated and hard-working ECMS Stingray students during the month of July.

A fun-filled first day of school was had by all the WISE Center Pre-K students. It began with breakfast, then moved on to learning and ended with rock climbing. Submitted by Debbie McBroom.
Teachers at West DeFuniak are placing an emphasis on grammar this year. In an effort to encourage students and staff to promote better punctuation and grammar, Principal Darlene Paul ordered new shirts for all of her staff. Shirts proudly proclaim Let's eat grandma. Let's eat, Grandma. Punctuation saves lives. Grandma probably prefers the second punctuation! Fifth grade teachers Debbie Bush, Olivia Garrett, Hope Allen, Jana Currid, and Andy Stafford are pictured sporting their new shirts. Submitted by Jessica Dawkins.
Wise Center Pre-k Orientation was an exciting and successful day. The children enjoyed meeting their teachers and exploring in their new rooms.
