Veteran's Day Thank You Cards from Kindergartners at WDE

This week WDE Kindergarten students are writing thank you cards to send to veterans through Operation Gratitude while learning about Veteran’s Day. Each student decorated a heart-shaped flag card and wrote a thank you note on the back. Submitted by Jessica Dawkins.

MHS Annual Book Character Parade

Students and staff at Mossy Head School enjoyed dressing up as their favorite book character and parading around the school for parents and visitors. Students also displayed a word that described their character on their costume. Our annual Character Parade helps promote and celebrate reading at MHS!

Awesome Attendance Face Painting Party at VRB

Butler Elementary students with perfect attendance for the month of October were treated to a “Facepaint and Tattoo” Party. Students also had the opportunity to color a butterfly mask and enjoy time outdoors celebrating this achievement. Parent volunteers helped supervise the event that was enjoyed by all!
