In this lessons the students use the scientific method to hypothesize, conduct the experiment, analyze the results, draw conclusions and report results. They also reflected on how they could have changed or improved the experiment. The discussed and analyzed design aspects, environmental factors and other things that could change the results. In addition to the science aspect students used a real life number line to decipher their results and estimate their final distances based on where their rockets landed and how close or far they were from the positions that were marked.
