Bay Elementary's staff kicked-off the school year by wearing their Alma Mater colors. Alums from FSU, Florida, Auburn, Alabama, the University of Montevallo, Ole Miss, Kennesaw State, Troy University, University of Georgia, University of Ohio in Dayton, Oregon, University of West Florida, University of Central Florida, University of Tampa, University of Central Arkansas and more ... What an impressive staff!

The deadline for submitting an application has been extended until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 14th.

We are excited to announce that Walton Education Foundation’s 2015 Classroom Mini-Grant applications are now being accepted.

 

Individual Teachers are eligible for up to $1,000 and Groups are eligible for up to $1,500.

New Teacher Orientation

July 31, 2015

On Thursday, July 30th, new teacher hires with 3 or less years of experience participated in a full day of learning teaching strategies and what to expect during the first few days of school.  A big thank you goes out to Walmart and Winn Dixie for donating gift cards to assist in the cost for providing breakfast and lunch for our new teachers and to Ed's Restaurant for providing their delicious chicken salad at cost!

Incoming South Walton High School 9th grader Jackson Weatherall won 1st place in the Drive, Chip, and Putt Championship in Mobile, Alabama at the Robert Trent Jones Magnolia Grove Golf Course on July 25, 2015. He advances to TPC Louisiana on Aug. 4th for the sub regional.
