Important Info Regarding Thursday's Baseball Game

 We look forward to hosting your team on  May 6, 2021. During these difficult times we definitely take our safety procedures very seriously. Below you will find the Athletic Safety Guidelines that has been implemented by FSUS administration and our MANDATORY MASK policy will be enforced. Please share the ticket information with your parents.  If you have any questions please let me know.

 

 

  FSUS Athletic Safety Guidelines

 

The following protocols have been put in place to increase safety for all participates and spectators. These may change depending on guidelines issued by FSUS Administration, FHSAA, Department of Health and/or the CDC.

 

Game Cancellations

Competitions may be cancelled up until start time of the scheduled event due to a positive test or pending test results.

 

Temperature checks

All players, coaches, and attendees will have their temperature checked before entering the competition facility at FSUS. The away coach should check temperatures before departing from their home facility and keep a report of the temperatures. Individuals that have a temperature that exceeds 100.3 degrees will not be permitted into the facility.

  

Ticketing

All tickets are e-tickets this year; please purchase your tickets before the game. Seating capacity has been modified to meet safety standards by CDC guidelines. Visiting teams will have an allotted amount of tickets for each game depending on the sites seating capacity. Click the link to purchase your tickets. (no cash will be accepted) If a refund is rewarded the processing fee is nonrefundable. No Re Entry is allowed.

  • Attendees will not be permitted inside the facility without mask.
  • Attendees must sit at least 6ft away from visitors not in their household. This will be determined by your ticket purchase order.
  • No complementary tickets will be provided to away teams.

 

As FSUS continues to follow Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines including wearing face coverings, adhering to cleaning protocols, and practicing social distancing on a daily basis on our campus.

 

 

Gym/Field Seating

 

Spectators are required to sit in the section/area designated on their purchased ticket. No exceptions. Those not abiding by this policy, may be asked to leave the stadium.  Tickets must be presented if asked by administration. Courts are no longer open for students/spectators for open play.  All spectators are required to remain in their area. MASKS are required at all times. No Exceptions!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a non-SWHS student participate in sports at SWHS?
Yes.  Charter School, Home School, and private school students zoned for South Walton may participate in sports at SWHS as long as their school doesn't offer that sport.  Home School student must complete the home school paperwork along with the physical and parental consent forms.  Private school students must submit the private school paperwork along with the physical and parental consent forms. Do I have to do athletic paperwork every year?
Yes.  Athletic paperwork (physical, consent forms) are good for 365 days. Return to Top
Does SWHS have an athletic trainer?
Yes.  Through partnership with the Andrews Institute we are provided an athletic trainer for all on campus practices and home games.  Her name is Jessica Harris.  Her email is [email protected] Return to Top
Can students participate in more than one sport during a sport season?
No.  Due to conflicts in practices and games, a student may only play one sport at a time.  They may play multiple sports from different seasons, but not in the same season. Return to Top
