Freeport High School

It was a great night to be a bulldog on Saturday, May 16th as the Freeport High School Clas of 2026 took the stage to accept their high school diplomas. The bleachers were packed with excited family and friends when our seniors opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem. Mrs. Simmons welcomed everyone to FLC Stadium and was followed by Senior Class President Larae Smith and class speaker Megan Weller. Superintendent Hughes joined Mrs. Simmons, Ms. Obert and Mr. Phillips on stage to present diplomas. Once each member of the class held their diplomas in hand and tassels were turned, they began the FHS tradition of surrounding Freeport teachers' mid field for the tossing of caps. It was a very special night for all in attendance.
