South Walton High School students in Annie Toole’s Criminal Justice Operations program recently participated in state-wide competition as part of the Florida Public Service Association (FPSA). The FPSA provides students with academic, general employability, problem-solving, technical and occupation-specific skills to meet the demands for a career in public service. SWHS students competed in criminal justice-specific events including crime scene analysis, forensics, fingerprinting, evidence packaging, traffic stop, and even an obstacle course! Students placed in numerous events and earned top marks in ideal prison cell design and overall team cohesion. Collectively they placed 7th in the state!
