Facility Rental Guidelines
SWHS programs always have first priority.
Not-for-profit organizations have next priority.
After SWHS and not-for-profit organizations, it is first come first served.
Liability insurance in the amount of $1 million listing the Walton County School District as insured must be provided.
The customer must meet with school personnel the week of the event.
If school district personnel are needed, the customer will pay the hourly rate for personnel.
All facilities must be locked at the end of every day.
Misuse of the facilities will result in no future bookings.
The facility space(s) that is rented is the only facility space(s) the customer has access to.
All reservations are subject to change based on the needs of the school- such as playoffs, etc.
Facility Use Checklist
FACILITY
You have been provided a school key or access badge. This will allow access to requested facility space(s). This key or access badge MUST be returned at the conclusion of the event. No exceptions.
All doors must be secured and locked at the conclusion of the event.
Turn off all lights at the conclusion of the event.
A/C is automatically set to run for the duration of the event in the spaces reserved.
Trash cans will be provided. It is the responsibility of the renter to empty and dispose of all trash. If needed, additional brooms, mops, and trash can liners are available in custodial closets (see map).
Report any damaged equipment or damage to the facility immediately.
Failure to adhere to the procedures outlined may prevent you from being able to use the facility in the future.
AUDITORIUM USE
Light, sound, and video projection equipment is available. Please return to original settings and turn off. SWHS does not provide a tech to run this equipment for your event.
Food/drinks are not permitted in auditorium.
Collect trash from seating area and/or empty trash cans at the conclusion of the event (dumpster shown on map).
CAFETERIA USE
Empty all trash (dumpster shown on map).
Clean any used areas that may have spills.
Return cafeteria tables to original setup.
GYMNASIUM USE
Clear bleachers (if used) of trash.
Empty any used trash cans (dumpster shown on map).
FIELD USE
Clear bleacher (if used) of trash.
Empty any used trash cans (dumpster shown on map).
No sunflower seeds are allowed on turf (Baseball).
No tents may be put up on turf (Baseball).
EMERGENCY REMINDERS
In case of emergency, call 9-1-1.
Automated external defibrillators (AEDs) are located in the GYM, CAFETERIA, CLINIC (main office), DUGOUT (Baseball), and FIELD HOUSE (Football). A map of these locations has been provided.
