Walton County School District Teacher of the Year, Shelly Hinojosa received one of only five special recognition awards at the FLDOE Teacher of the Year Gala.  The FLDOE presented Hinojosa with the Liz Moya Life Skills and Citizenship Award. This award is presented to a teacher for “Improving decision-making, critical thinking, and civic responsibility to students making sure they are prepared and ready for the future.” Liz Moya passed away in Feb. 2023. The Walton County School District is proud of Mrs. Hinojosa’s accomplishment and the impact she has on the lives of children!
