Open Enrollment Information
July 6, 2017
Controlled Open Enrollment as required by law allows a parent from any district in Florida to enroll and transport his or her student to any public school that has not reached capacity. Certain students, such as dependents of active duty military whose move resulted from military orders, or student relocated due to foster care placement, receive priority for seat assignments within a school. Parents must submit applications for enrollment for a school outside their student's transportation zone. (See COntrolled Open Enrollment Policy at www.walton.k12.fl.us)
